The Lake Erie District is part of the International Lightning Class Association - one of the most successful one design classes in the world, with more than 15,300 boats built.  Locally, we offer a great racing schedule, junior events and a nice mix of off-the-water fun.  If you're interested in finding out more about the Lightning, please let us know!

Congratulations to 'uncle' Bob Starck and 'old Jim' Eagan on the purchase of their new ride, pictured here.  Rumor has it that the automatic bilge pump was the big selling point!
